Historic Fort Camera

The Historic Fort is a great place to learn some history while visiting Fort De Soto. Although the fort never saw combat, it is a great location to explore and is close to a snack bar. Plenty of animals move through this area at night once all the visitors have left. Look below for the most recent pictures taken and images from all the different species seen on this camera. 

These photos were taken by a passive infrared camera that is set at night and takes photos when the sensor is triggered.   

Please keep these animals safe by removing all litter, including food. Do not feed wildlife and pick up after your pets.
