Restored Cut Camera

This area was recently restored by the Tampa Bay Estuary Program to allow for a more natural environment for the species that live here. Mangroves dominate the plant life here and plenty of other species call this habitat home. This camera is placed near an opening to the water with no mangroves in the way, meaning plenty of animals walk by this location. Look below for the most recent pictures taken and images from all the different species seen on this camera.

These photos were taken by a passive infrared camera that is set at night and takes photos when the sensor is triggered.

Please keep these animals safe by removing all litter, including food. Do not feed wildlife and pick up after your pets.
